Has anybody changed from Attorney to No Attorney? G-28 form has instructions on how to change an attorney, but there is nothing to cancel it altogether.
I've done it. Well, basically my attorney sent a notice to the USCIS, but I think you can do it too by sending a simple letter to the Service Center. There is no form for that as far as I know.

I think we should send post cards to all the senators. The message should be simple:
1. RECAPTURE of the lost EB visas for the last decade.
2. Per Country quota flexibility.
The post cards should be sent to all the 100 senators.
If people want to send flowers it should be again to soldiers at Walter Reed. I think this time it should say Thank you for your service by USCIS.

If EB folks don't want to do anything for their own benefit, there won't be any hope even after 2009. We will be over shadowed by 12 million folks once 2009 kicks in. Good luck finding a solution then.
We already have 2 bills (HR5882 and HR 5921) in the Judiciary committee, did U call U'r lawmaker and seek support from him/her.
PD's don't move forward based on ppl praying, it moves based on supply and demand. Right now the demand is very high and the supply of visa is very low. We can improve the supply situation if the bills goes through.
2009------we can see something happening.
Until then Visa Bulleting is our best hope and source

I checked with attorney and they mentioned that I can continue on my L1 if I am with L1 employer OR if I am with H1 employer then I can be only on H1 status...

Did you tell your attorney that you have got new I-94 with H1-B written on it. I-94 indicates new status. There are no 2 ways about it.

Please do not listen to anyone telling you that you can not do such-and-such just because you have filed I-485 application. In general, most of the times it is company attorney filing your I-485 and just asking you to sign the document at the mark placed and some candidates do not even bother to take a copy of the forms that they will be signing. If you have already taken a copy of your I-765 (EAD) and I-131 (travel document/AP), please confirm the next. Most of the times, the attorney puts the business address of the law firm as the address where USCIS should mail-in the EAD card. For AP, you may find your address.
Now coming back to original question, you will have to fill form AR-11 and send it to USCIS. I am not sure if you have to send more than one copies of that to USCIS (one for your H1B and one for your AOS when you get the receipt number) so it will be on file with USCIS. By law, it is a must that you provide your proper address change info to USCIS.

facilitate a repository for you to add Help wanted /Offered information.
We all pretty well know that having one's contact information would be
of no use unless we see some beneficial activities. Towards this end
in the Help wanted /offered information table we have created 3
specific fields where you can enter your past/present/future ventures,
your areas of expertise in which you can be help to others and the 3rd
field to enter the areas of help you are looking for.
You dont need to be a master in a domain to be of help. Just a piece
of advise is good enough. Also there is nothing like a silly question
so one can ask for any kind of help.
This obviously helps identify individuals who can be of specific help
in specific areas of interest.
So please go ahead and enter the information that you feel comfortable
entering. There is no compulsion for any one to input the data but we
would strongly encourage to do so just to help each other. After all

I think the only language that US understands is lawsuit otherwise everything is unfair. You can see that is why there is a lawsuit culture here. Every agency govt and non govt tries to cheat you be it car rental agency, be it movers be it USCIS. By default everything is taken moral in US unless proven by lawsuit or dictated by law.
Even if we loose lawsuit, it will make impact in the sense that the issue will get a lot of publicity. I am willing to donate to IV but not for nothing, not for flowers, not protests not for this forum either, I am willing to donate if there is some rigid action to be taken like a lawsuit.
I agree with you 100% over there, I am up for a lawsuit and a rally. Problem is, so many of the members here are all talk and no walk (Not IV Core members, no disrespect to them). I have sent so many letters,made soo many calls, specially at the time when Lofgreen was talking about recapture of visa numbers. In the end I got frusturated.
Illegals are better than us, imagine if EAD had not happened? A lot of members would be united to fight the cause.
Unification is very important. Above all doing something big rather than just talking about it!
