I have used AC21 to change jobs
I have a closing statement from my previous employer mentioning the exercisable options.
Here it goes:
Exercisable Options
Price $30
grant date 1/10/2007
Shares exercisable 400
total price =12000
Last date to exercise
7/20/2008
However the market share value for the company now is 26.00
now my question is if I were to exercise before the last date will I be getting the total amount of $12000 or 26 x 400 = $10400 or the difference between the share values which is infact negative or nothing?
I find it difficult understand this financial terms. I dont understand clearly the term 'Exercisable options' Is there a hidden treasure am going to get?????

If a company is pre-IPO, the options are offered at a much cheaper price of a 1c to 10c per option.
You should be able to place a call to your HR and they would be able to explain any questions you have. If the value is negative, no point exercising options now.

Your case is a lil different than mine cause you did your I140 first, got online receipt that was sent with your 485. I am assuming one week later, when you had your PERM hard copy, you sent that along with other docs for your I140. I think you will be fine. You did everything right for the I140 and 485 is dependent on 140.
Me though...my lawyer sent both 140/485 together in the mail, nothing done online. and no perm hard copy was included..just the online approval ETA form, signed by me/employer, along with screen shot af DOLETA approval.
I will definitely keep you updated. I think mine will take longer than most cause on top of everything my file was sent to nebraska instead of texas....so it had/needs to be transfered to texas (NY employer).
Keep updating and if you hear about others (i'm trying to stay in touch with others in similar position), let me know...

The Statuatory limitation on the law suits is 3 yrs...if you didn't file it within 3 yrs the court may use its own discretion.

It will take weeks to write the draft of the bill. Then atleast 1 month debate about the bill. So it will take 2 to 3 months even if everything is positive. Even if they are serious they may not have enough time to pass CIR. So 2010 may be right time for CIR.

I think NSC does process cases even though they are not within the priority date. This way they can pre-adjudicate cases. By doing this they can quickly issue GC when the date moves ahead.
During processing if they have any questions, they could issue a RFE.

Hi, Congratulations :) When our son was born, we were in a similar predicament. We had to travel to India after about 60 days. This was the sequence of events..we got the birth certificate after 10 days, SSN after about 25 days. Applied for passport, paid extra for expedited service and got it in less than a week. Went to the indian embassy and person, explained the situation and the got the visa in about 2 days..
Afterwards i found out that the PIO involves less paperwork :) but i dont know how long that will take ...

Her H-4 is invalid once your GC is approved. But she will have some grace period to apply for I-485 if priority dates were still current. But since we do not anticipate the dates to move that fast and if she continues to stay for some more time, she will be out of status and subject to bars. Best option is to file for Follow to Join as soon as possible and may be leave the country for some time. Don't rely on this advice completely but consult a good lawyer as the laws keep changing.

You are not subject to H1 cap, since you had been on H1 status in last 6 years. However, H1 portablity applies only for H1-to-H1 transfer.
Your H1 petition is approved. You need to get H1 visa from consulate.

Do you think we can apply a duplicate 485 when the actual 485 packet is already sent. Even in this case how do you send the sealed medical reports since you have already sent them.

As per my immig. atty it takes between 2-3 months for the h1 to h4 processing. Unfortunately there is no premium processing for h4 unless you piggy back it with an h1 processing. Hope this helps.

Im in the same boat as you. I just bought a D70 and it came with almost the same exact len kit. Ive had lots of fun/luck witht he 70-300mm at my kids softball games. I got some great shots of the kids at the plate , running, fielding etc...
Back to your original question....I just bought a magazine this week by ShutterBug - Digital Photography How-To Guide. One of the articles is about choosing the next lens for your digital SLR. Well worth the price for us rookies :p
I need some serious help with my D50 equipment. I have no experience at all with SLR cameras, and have recently bought a bundle consisting of a Nikon D50 and a Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S Dxlens. Now I am interested in buying another lens (The Nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 AF Zoom Lens) in hope that these two lenses would suit my needs in amateur photography. I intend to photo landscapes, portraits and some ''macro'' (flowers and some insects). So, I would like to know if these lenses are an acceptable choice, having in mind that I can't afford to buy some expensive lenses, as my average monthly salary almost amounts to the price of these cheap ones.
