Hi,
I applied for my first EAD in May 2007 and had FP done in June 2007. I am now applying for my EAD renewal. Will there be another FP for the renewal?
This is really urgent as I am traveling to India in April for a month and I don't want to miss the FP appointment. Please let me know if you have info on this?

Why would anyone want to go 2 steps behind when already on last stage of getting GC. Won't it be like giving an 10th class exam again when you are already graduate and about to receive an job ?

I called USCIS to know the status of my I765 and I131 and came to know it got rejected because of sign missing on the form as i had filed my 485 with my EAD and AP i got my 485 receipt month back.
And USCIS said they have mailed my returned application on 13th aug but i have not received it yet.I called USCIS and they said that i can refile it again after 30days if i don't receive my package. Can i file on my own i do have the LIN number for rejected application.Can i file online
please suggest
I have no answer but sometimes it is good to have an attorney when filing first time, where we can depend on them for these situations.

I sent my documents for I485 on May 4th. Fedex web site shows that the documents were received by the service center on May 5th. But so far, my checks were not deposited or I haven't received the official receipt. How long does it take usually for USCIS to deposit checks? If I don't get the receipts for another week, what do I do?

Hi, I have fallen in love with a lady from Nicaragua. She has been in the US for 5 years illegally living under a common law marriage to a man with legal US residence. I am a US citizen, born in the US, and I want to marry her and get her legal. There are two points you should know. She has a daughter with the man she was living with who was born in the US almost 3 years ago. She also has a son who is 13 still living in Nicaragua and I want to bring him here to live with us also. How can I get her legal and bring her son here to live with us? i have done 11 months 20 days of full time CPT at the previous university(where i did my MS).
am i eligible for another full time CPT at my new university where i have started my MBA (from jan 21st 2008)?
the international students service at my previous university is saying "i am eligible for 12months of full time CPT for every educational level, and i cannot get another 12 months if i do MBA because it is a masters degree too".
please suggest.

yes, they're right. CPT is 12 months max full time and it is 12 months for every educational level.
1.Part-time CPT is 20 hours a week or less. If done during school year, must maintain full time status. It has no effect on OPT.
2.Full-time CPT is more than 20 hours a week. (25 hrs a week is full time). If you do more than 12 months of full-time CPT, you lose your OPT option

I must admit I'm not very photoshop savy. I'm looking for some advise on this picture. I took it with a polarizer and have spent many hours trying to photo edit it to make it lighter without losing the color of the sky but can't seem to get it quite right. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
